We make the course simple for the employer. Firstly, we make it fit the schedule clients need: we know it's tough to let people go for 3 consecutive days. Once a week for three weeks works much better for most clients. And it has a side benefit: employees have time between classes to actually see and experience the topics being discussed.

In Ontario, the general content of JHSC Certification courses is set outby WSIB: the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board. So, many courses are fairly similar.   JHSC Certification includes:

• Workplace Health, Workplace Safety
• Workplace Inspection
• Accident Investigation

It's not just the material that makes a difference ... it's the trainers. Specifically, our experienced trainers know how to fill in the blanks and point out the things that are not in the legislation -- but still need to be covered. 

And of course, after Part I Certification, your Health & Safety Committee needs to do a hazard assessment and get specific training on those topics (often referred to as part II modules). We can help you there too.
